We all know how great tacos are, but combine tacos and a bunch of awesome cars and you have yourself most men and probably a lot of women’s idea of a really great day. San Diego Taco Company took our rockin’ food truck to the car show this past weekend. We thought we would join in the fun and excitement and provide car enthusiasts with great food to eat while they watched some great cars race, and viewed the ones parked there and be beautiful. What we didn’t know was what a great opportunity it would be for us to meet other small business owners and network with some very talented and interesting people. We are especially excited about meeting Phoenixautowrap.com owner and technicians. These guys don’t just love cars and tacos they help design the appearance! These guys are top experts in vinyl wrapping your car, truck, hey even our taco truck in whatever style, color, or design imaginable. They are affordable and experienced individuals. So much so that they are cutting a deal with us in trade for our delicious tacos.
If you have not yet had the experience of eating from our Taco Truck that drives around beaches here in SD, events such as this, festivals, fairs, etc you probably have never got to see the monstrosity. Here’s a little back story to get started. We are new to the Taco Truck thing having only been at a physical location for patrons to come into. Recently we decided that taco’s and other exquisite sides of ours needed to be mobile. So we bought our very first taco truck. Unfortunately it is an unsightly shade of weird green. Resemble guacamole, perhaps some left in your fridge too long, yes. Is it easy on the eyes, or an appetizing color probably not. With not really knowing the road to go down to get this thing to our expectations, we have been browsing around on whether to paint it, put stickers on it, sell it and buy a better looking one, we just didn’t know. Until this car show that is! So enter in meeting Jim from Phoenix Auto Wraps. He came up to get our to die for tacos and commented on our truck. We expressed our dilemma to him in which he replied…make it a matte green or black, add a few unique designs and your name and you would have yourself a truck. We agreed and asked what he thought that would cost. That is when he dumbfounded us. He could design what we wanted and then basically wrap our vehicle with the color and images. So what did we do we set up a business meeting and have successfully updated out Taco Truck. Business has been booming and he invited us to come out to Phoenix, Arizona where he is based to another car show he will be putting on at his shops warehouse. He wrapped our truck, we come and bring the tacos, be a type of car “Model” for him and done deal! All we gotta say is.. Road trip with a ton of tacos in a sick new ride? Heck ya!! Being the Taco guys just got better!
